No Lase 2025, Cetesb destaca papel estratégico no avanço da transição energética
Durante o principal fórum socioambiental do setor elétrico, representantes da Cetesb reforçaram o papel do órgão como facilitador de investimentos em biogás, biometano e infraestrutura verde.
Entre os dias 29 de setembro e 1º de outubro, a Cetesb marcou presença no Lase 2025 – Líderes Ambientais no Setor de Energia, evento que reuniu mais de 800 participantes de 21 estados brasileiros no WTC Events Center, em São Paulo. Reconhecido como o principal fórum de discussão socioambiental do setor elétrico, o Lase chega à 16ªedição como um espaço qualificado de troca de conhecimento, articulação institucional e debates estratégicos sobre a transição energética e os desafios do licenciamento ambiental no Brasil.
Com cerca de 100 palestrantes, distribuídos em três palcos temáticos, o evento teve como mote “Três dias para mudar três anos”, em referência ao período decisivo que o setor enfrentará entre 2025 e 2028. Nesse cenário, os temas socioambientais ganham protagonismo, impulsionados por fatores como a realização da COP30 no Brasil, a entrada em vigor do novo marco legal do licenciamento ambiental e o fortalecimento dos critérios ESG por parte de financiadores e investidores.
A Cetesb participou ativamente das discussões com a presença de quatro representantes. O diretor-presidente da Companhia e diretor da Abema – Associação Brasileira de Entidades Estaduais de Meio Ambiente, Thomaz Toledo, integrou o painel de abertura “Energia, Geopolítica e Transição: o Brasil no Centro das Transformações Globais”, que abordou o novo papel estratégico do país frente à intensificação da digitalização, às tensões internacionais e à agenda climática. Em sua fala, ele destacou que o papel do órgão ambiental vai além da regulação.

Instead, it establishes that PFHxS itself has been used as an alternative to other POPs, leading to its global contamination. The document underscores the critical need for information on safer alternatives and highlights that the transition away from PFHxS is part of a broader international effort to manage PFAS. A comprehensive analysis of alternatives would be the subject of a separate Risk Management Evaluation document prepared after a substance is found to be a POP.
